Born of a love for wine shared between a South African winemaker and his Spanish father-in-law, MacRobert & Canals brings together two of the most passionate winegrowing nations in the world, blending traditions & ideas to produce truly unique wines. Laventura Lanave 2020 is a blend of 35% Garnacha, 35% Tempranillo and 30% Mazuelo (Carignan). Deep purple in colour, it's packed with fleshy aromas of red cherries, bramble and wild blackberries, which lead onto more smoky, earthy flavours on the palate. Combining good acidity, body and length, this is Bryan MacRobert's take on a precise, yet very juicy, Rioja Tinto.
